This is my virgin foray into web design. I expect it will fall somewhere between the extremes of unmitigated disaster and just generally lacking. With time and interest from friends and fans, however, I hope it will evolve into a nice little spot you might visit from time to time. Perhaps at its best it will become and oasis where we can share some thoughts on the trying and provocative world in which we live today.

In my 63 years on this planet, I don’t think I have ever seen the nation nor indeed the world endure such quiet, yet powerful stress. Polarized politically, challenged by natural events, threatened by terrorism and unrest, we are living life in the fast lane. In and of itself that might not be so bad, but it often feels more like a runaway train than a summer joyride with the top down.

I am as interested in these issues as in the world of film and television. I hope you are as well.
